At the age of four, Tre' started showing a interest in drumming. During this time, his grandfather who was a vocalist, taught him the two-stroke roll. He told Tre' as soon as the roll was played nice and even, with accuracy and speed, he would buy tre' a snare drum. After practicing the two-stroke roll for at least three years, his Grandfather kept true to his word and bought him his first real concert snare drum.
In high school, Tre' turned his interest to the drum set, studying privately with Oklahoma City's most prominent percussion/drum set educators, K. Dean Walker & Paul Bowman, but after seeing his cousin who was the percussionist in a band that was signed to Capital Records, this changed everything. Hand percussion is where he found his love, but still sharing it with drum kit and marching.
After college Tre' hit the local music circuit in full force. In time, Tre' became the first call percussionist in OKC. Drum Corps, After Five Jazz, Color Me Badd, All-4-One, Bennie Maupin, Michael Bolton, Disneyland's Lion King Parade and many others have had Tre' add his percussive taste and style to their recording and live shows.
1999 Tre' decided to give back to the drumming world and start teaching in the community where he resides.
Shaping young minds with his philosophy of "Life Through Drumming & Drumming Through Life", the music programs have proven to be at the top of their game.
