Dale is an active performer, instructor, and inventor in the marching percussion arena. He has performed with The Cavaliers (http://www.cavaliers.org), the University of Illinois Illini Drumline (http://www.uidrumline.com), the Chicago Bears Drumline (http://www.chicagobears.com/gameday/drumline.html), the Chicago Bulls Stampede (http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/stampede.html), and is currently playing quads with the Crystal Lake Strikers (http://www.clstrikers.com). 

His instructional history includes 5 years as bass technician for The Cavaliers, 1 year as DCI percussion judge, and many years teaching high school drumlines in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. He is currently teaching the Tiger Drumline at Crystal Lake Central High School. 

Dale uses Dynasty drums for the beatRack (http://www.beatrack.com) and holds patent #7,576,276 for the Percussion Instrument Spinner which was used by the Blue Devils (http://www.facebook.com/DynastyBandInstruments?v=app_2392950137&sb=16#!/video/video.php?v=1045592272519) and also by Northcoast Indoor and Green Thunder. He was the first to glue foam to the inside of bassdrums for muffling (http://www.thelessonroom.com/LessonRoomResourceLibrary.Page?ActiveID=3033&MediaId=8160). 

In his free time, Dale is a Senior Research Engineer at Underwriters Laboratories, specializing in electrical safety.
