Dr. Chris Johnson is an active percussion arranger, clinician, performer, and adjudicator in the Lehigh Valley area of Eastern Pennsylvania. Chris earned his bachelor's degree at the Pennsylvania State University before attaining his Master's degree at Wilkes University and then his doctorate at Northcentral University.
Currently, Chris serves as the percussion caption head and arranger for the Parkland High School Trojan Marching Band and its award-winning Indoor Percussion Ensemble, the Kutztown University Marching Unit, and the front ensemble of the Connecticut Hurricanes Drum & Bugle Corps. Chris runs his own percussion studio called and enjoys a highly successful career as an instructor, arranger, adjudicator and independent clinician, conducting percussion clinics through out the Atlantic coast. Chris is a proud endorser of Dynasty Drums, Vic Firth Sticks and Mallets, and Remo drumheads.
